In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

The old town Hall in Hammersmith is being redeveloped. An ugly 1950’s civic building, it won’t be much missed but it presents an opportunity to capture its transformation. A series of repeating squares and rectangles, and solid colour blocks makes for a pleasing composition.
