In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

Sand

I took this last week in the car park behind Camber - the sand blown in of the beach, damp from drizzle and partially obscuring the road markings below. A melancholy set-up to match the news that all pubs and restaurants are to close in London as of Wednesday.
