In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

Gravenhurst

This same day last year found me out on a ride in rural Bedfordshire. Some 120km into the ride Is an old Norman church in the tiny hamlet of Gravenhurst. The weather was glorious, for February, unlike today so I took a stroll round the graveyard and took a few photos. Hope to head back that way again soon.
