In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

Not an ode to the classic Deacon Blue album from the 80’s but the state of affairs this Monday morning. Lot’s of concern today in Italy about the spread of Coronovirus in the north of the country, and in the WApp group for our ski-ing holiday to the nearby region of Aosta next week.
