In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

Back on home turf, I had to pop out for the post run this morning and wandered past this old favourite, Chapati Club on The Vale in Acton. Classic home-cooked curries, friendly staff and reasonable prices, it deserves to survive the current crisis.
