In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

Looking for a photo for todays post I didn’t have to go to far back, only November last year but what seems like a lifetime ago now. I like this moody photo of the new national theatre in Copenhagen, not least because of it’s severe post-modern styling, the wide angle and almost empty vista. Denmark is one of the first European countries to ease it’s lockdown, good for them.
