Puno

People week continues with a trip to Lake Titicaca in Peru. Close to the lakeside town of Puno is a settlement of floating villages made of Reeds. In truth, these are something of a tourist confection, but I’m happy with that, it’s still a fascinating place to visit. I took this picture of one of the senior members of the community, a very charismatic profile and a fine hat to boot.
