Oman

I made a couple of enjoyable trips to Muscat each February to follow the Tour Of Oman Bike race for which Milltag were a sponsor. I took this shot on my last visit in 2019 - being a spectator at a bike race is an exercise in boredom management at the best of times but this is taken at the start line before the race has even begun. I don’t remember taking or even composing it but I like the contrast in expressions, especially the lady at the far end. Other pleasing elements include the cropped type and even a sprinkling arabic script for added local colour. I’ll be back to the cycling in Oman later this week.
