In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

Looking for inspiration today, this still-life composition presented itself - good colours and textures, the fruit is a little over-exposed here but otherwise quite a decent effort. Wether is set to get properly warm this week, nudging the high 20’s. Beach weather, if we could go to the beach.
