The whole dry January thing is a bit much in my opinion but I gave myself the first 10 days alcohol-free which was plenty enough for me. I found this photo in the phone archive, taken in San Francisco in November 2016 which fits the bill.
In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.
