In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

I was due to be on my way home today from the London - Lands End - London bike ride, another victim of the current restrictions. No matter, a jolly day was had bashing around the Surrey Hills, a couple of pints and a bbq in the evening. The view from the bedroom window as the day draws to a close.
