In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

Confusion

Confusion reigns in my home town of Manchester with hastily arranged partial re-imposition of lockdown in the region. Confusion too for cyclists in the village of Little Gaddesden, this sign spotted on one my longer than usual rides today. To ride, or not to ride?
