In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

Football

It’s Saturday but all football is cancelled until further notice. A chance to remember happier times, in this case the last game of The Premiership season 2018-19. I cycled down to Brighton with my brother, we went 1-0 down and Liverpool 1-0 up early doors but by half time we’d turned it round and never looked back. Title won, we headed into town for a few drinks with friends, more drinks on the train back and wobbled home, a fine day out. I tool this photo of the fella in front of me during the trophy celebrations.
