In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

A final day riding the King Alfred Way. I rode the Ridgeway seven years ago over a Summer weekend but conditions this Autumn a little more challenging - heavy mud and slippery clay. A few crashes and a big tumble towards the end but made it back to Reading to complete the circuit.
