In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

A few years ago I used the track ‘A Man You Don’t Meet Everyday’ to accompany a short film I made about a 600km ride through Wales. My friend, photographer Charlie Birchmore met me at the mid-point of the ride and shot portraits of the riders as they were about to head back into the night on the return leg. Well, here’s a sign you don’t meet every day.
