In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

Backstreet

Bangkok is a fascinating place, the modern and the ancient happily co-exist but it’s the latter that holds a little more intrigue. Wandering along backstreets close to the Royal Palace I was drawn to the apparent chaos of this alleyway. Look a little further however and everything is in it’s rightful place including the tricycle rider performing his morning ablutions.
