In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

Altrincham

Altrincham, plucky FA Cup giantkillers and town of my birth. Recently voted the UK’s most improved town, largely due to the development of the market to the left in this shot. A trip to see family followed by a quick stroll around town, the old place looking pretty as a picture in the late afternoon sunshine.
