Windsor

I have an Andrea’s Gursky folio book on the studio shelves. It contains many exquisite, large format images but the cover is more prosaic, a picture of the Rhine on a flat grey day, taken at eye-level it’s nothing more than horizontal strips of green, grey and silver. I was reminded of this whilst cycling past the Thames just outside Windsor this morning as I stopped for this shot.
