To Manchester, city of my birth and home of the worlds greatest football club. I’m here visiting a client and making a site visit to a new ‘Assembly’ location. Just around the corner I came across this Manchester institution, still glorious even in the rain. Later the day I got to visit two more superb pubs - The Castle Hotel in the Norther Quarter, and after a short hop over to Sheffield, the wonderful railway station boozer, the Sheffield Tap with it’s incredible barrel-vaulted tiled ceiling.
