In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

Orlando

On this very day last year I was completing a 600km ride around Northern Sicily, documented here. This is a photo of Capo D’Olrando beach near Messina, just one of a string of jaw droppingly beautiful vistas I encountered on to ride back to Palermo that day. One of my favourite days in one of my favourite places. Andare Tutti Bene.
