In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

Everyone’s a photographer these days, myself included but the inspiration for this ‘Everyday’ project comes from the work of Martin Parr, a true master of his craft. I took this photo as his exhibition at Manchester Art Gallery in December 2018.
