In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

One of my first, and favourite accidental photos. I was setting up to shoot this scene on Cincoteague Island on the East coast of America, trying to crop out anyone in view. Thankfully, the two chaps in the bottom corner wandered into the frame and add a little mystery to the shot - just what are they listening for?
