In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

A period of self-isolation begins today, everybody’s doing it I hear. A dip into the archive, way back to August 2015 and a portrait of a couple of kids on the steps outside Angkor Wat in Cambodia. I like the contrast here, the boy’s proud, dismissive stare straight down the lens and the intense gaze of the girl.
