In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

I haven’t been able to venture out for the past 3 weeks but that changes tomorrow now my period of rehab and isolation is complete. These two Scott Mitchell prints hang in the stairwell, I look up at them every time I leave for a ride. May the wind be always at your back.
