In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

Out today to make a delivery I discovered this handsome mansion block in Chiswick. I lived on a similar place when I first moved to London over 30 years ago. Living on flats in the current restrictions can’t be easy but this particular style from the early 20th century make life a little more tolerable for the residents at least.
