In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

Yesterday would have marked the end of this years Tour De France as originally scheduled. Thankfully, Le Grande Boucle will still take place later in the year but by then the Sunflowers will have wilted and the landscape shifted towards its Autumn colours.
