I used to walk past this warehouse building on Leonard St most days on my way to lunch or the local coffee shop. I was always intrigued by the wording on the entrance ‘Someone Lives Here’. Who was it aimed at and what were they so keen to express? In truth the answer is probably pretty banal, a plea to late night drinkers to keep the noise down. Not a problem now with everything shut but it looks like the residents have upped and left anyway.
