In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

Westway

There’s a cycle bridge over the westway in North Acton that offers a decent view eastwards towards Notting Hill, the west End and the city skyline beyond. I’ve enjoyed this little secondment in the Republic of Park Royal but change is on its way.
