In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

I went to Copenhagen for the first time back in November 2109. A lively, welcoming city, I could live there if the weather was better. On a Scandi Noir tour of the city we visited some less salubrious parts of the city including the homeless hostel and needle exchange, as well as this cool former garage, now restaurant and listed building.
