In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

Bogota

Bogota might not make many people favourite city list, a busy metropolis perched on a high plateau at nearly 3000m. I love it though, nice people, great food and a strong cycling culture which is why I was there. I had a bit of time to myself and spent time wandering the streets of Chapinero where I came across the Fudo restaurant and it’s lovely painted exterior - very similar to Bounce in Shoreditch from back in Mid March
