In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

Atelier

Parisien glamour is on short supply on the mean streets of Park Royal - function over form is the way of things round here. I’m not sure if the ‘Blanc Atelier’ at the top of Gorst Road quite manages to deliver on the promise of Haute Couture but the pleasingly modernist branding makes a change from the usual graphic clutter that predominates.
