In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

RIP Diego Maradonna, the greatest footballer of my lifetime. I always loved the Argentina sides of the 70’s and 80’s more than the over-hyped, underwhelming Brazil teams. And that jersey, a classic of its time. Maradonna is forerever linked with the azul y blanco jerseys of Argentina and latterly Napoli, I like to think if he played here there’d only be one team for him.
