In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

Pretty chilly on the ride across town today. For the past few years December has been spent designing and preparing the jerseys for the Tour of Oman bike race. Not this year, the race was cancelled back in January after the death of the ruling Sultan. And not in 2021 either as CoVid continues to disrupt global sport events, I’ll have to wait a while longer before I can enjoy again the pool here at the Radisson hotel.
