Colin the barber just off Askew Road was something of a Shepherds Bush legend. He ran this shop for over 30 years, travelling in every day from Wiltshire. A trip here for a £5 haircut was never quick, local characters wandered in for a chat about the football, and Tottenham in particular. Colin was a referee so had an opinion on everything and was happy to share it. Sadly, he retired about 3 years ago but the shop remains exactly as he left it, a mausoleum for the local community.
